It would suggest to me that he is trying to keep the flame going so the possibility of you guys getting back together is more likely. If you are truly done with him, ask him to let you continue to get over the relationship in your own way and to give you space. Tell him the transition will be a lot easier if you could just cut all ties and be without him in ALL ways. This may hurt him, but ask him to respect your wishes. On a differnet note, if you want him back, have a talk and figure out what made yuo two split in the first place. If all issues have been addressed and you think you have a mutual understanding of how to make it work from here on out- give it another try. Either way- good luck!

Well, if you still want him badly...make him "work" for you. What I mean is...when he calls you...chat with him for a few minutes and then say "Oh, I'm sorry, but I really have to go to the store." Things like that...and like next week when he calls........chat with him little longer... and keep coming up with excuses...but as the weeks go by...chat with him longer....
This will tell you how much he really wants you back......and how much time he is willing to put in for you and how long he will wait for you.

Ignore his calls and move on...men only miss what they can't or don't have...as soon as he finds a new honey (which is probably taking him longer than he thought it would, thereby damaging his self-esteem which he wants you to build back up).
Give him the polite kiss of death..."We can still be friends". It is what he deserves.

It depends on what I wanted from the relationship, another chance, a 'friends only' relationship, or to terminate contact all together. It may also depend on what I thought his intentions were by continuing to call me.

I would go to the police station and sign a restriction order, change your phone number or move away he is stalking you and it could get dangerous.

It sounds to me like he is trying to string you along. If you wish to keep talling to him and ha ve a friendship be sure and lay the law down, that you are just friends.

Talk to him. I still talk to my ex just to make sure he is okay. I mean even if you guys left on bad terms, he is still someone you care about and would not want to see hurt. Even though I would never mess with my ex again, I still wanna make sure he is okay.

it depends ..
I wouldn't answer my ex if I didn't get over him and if he hurt me deeply but I would talk to my ex if we broke up without hurting each other and I got over him .
It hurts to talk to ex's when there is still some feelings in your heart for them.

Talk to him but never have sex with him. Tease him and make him realize his mistake. May be he don't know what he is really missing. Make him realize this and move on. All world is waiting for you.
