IMy daughter says that I bought something with her...yet I do not remember at all. She says I was sober, yet I do not recall doing this, yet I have some evidence that I did. This has got me completely spooked.Any suggestions here?

You may not recall an incident, but it isn't directly associated with being drunk before or after you were sober. Drinking excessively and staying "sauced up" could cause you to think you were "sober" when in fact you weren't.

yes, they can happen, But check the signature if it was bought with a credit card and it is a questionable item that was bought.
But yes they can happen. it's caused by the brain damage the booze has already caused to our brain. It's called sober time lapsing. People who have claimed that they were abducted by aliens have complained about this. normally its only abuot 9 minutes with the alien thing, but with alcoholics it can be hours.

You bet they can!! My wife tells me I missed the first year of our courtship due to my drinking of habit of going into "the blackout zone". I wonder at times why she kept me. Apparently I was the life of the party, but would remember almost NONE of it. It's actually a sign of a serious problem that should be addressed ASAP.

well...I have had a couple black outs later when I wasnt currently drinking but I am no doctor so I have no idea if it was from that....Check with your Doc
