Ok, follow along . . . A married man, meets his neighbor (female) for drinks on Friday at happy hour, initiated by the female neighbor. His wife calls during the happy hour, and he tells his wife who he is with. (the neighbor is friends with the husband and wife)
Do you think that the married man was interested in the neighbor at all, even in just a flirty way, or was it purely a chance to get out and have a drink ?

I play a role in this circle, but I don't want to say who I am because I want honest answers...I might be the female neighbor, or I might be the wife of the guy who met the neighbor. I just want to hear opinions.

I think when a man accepts drinks with another woman he is interested. Probably not in a relationship, but he'll definitely feel the situation out to see if he can bang her or you or whatever.

I had a guy once tell me, if a man is talking with you then he probablt wants to #*$ you...lol

I just think it's bad new to go out for drinks with a married neighbor.

BTW.. is this female who had drinks with her married neighbor married?

Did the neighbor also invite the wife or just the husband? Has this happened before? Is the man an alcoholic and will drink no matter who offers? There is really not enough information to know what this married man is thinking.

Maybe he and the neighbor have been friends for life and the neighbor is going thru a hard time and just wanted to talk to an old friend.

Maybe they are having a hot torrid love affair.

The best hiding place is in the open. He wants some of that ***. Is she the only person he knows and can go out drinking with? No. He thinks if he tells you errr his wife up front that he was with her that she will feel he is honest about everything.
The other question is way would a single woman ask a married man out alone? So even if he was interested at first she'll wear him down if they continue to spend time together.

Well ok , here goes. If a man asks a woman out for drinks in happy hour and the wife and the woman's husbands doesn't know about it. Well he was thinking just maybe I'll get some if I get her drunk enough. But think why not just ask the husband for drinks instead of the wife. Hmmm I would say if it was me and the neighbor's wife is a sexyy beautiful woman and if I could make her lossen up enough to make out with her I would. And I would invite her to a bar and try to get her drunk so we could make happy. Becasue if a man's just wants out for a while invite the husband and talk to him and enjoy the drinks, but he invited the wife so hey it's my opinion. But if you want to go in detail with this just IM me.

I'm not the jealous type and it is Christmas. If it was just a one or two time thing here and there I wouldn't worry. Especially if the neighbor invites the wife maybe the next time or something. Now if he's over at the neighbors helping her do stuff and isn't paying any attention at home then there is a problem. If your the neighbor don't mess with anothers' husband. If your the wife just step back and watch what he does. Now if your the husband please respect your wife. Good luck and happy holidays!

I don't know. The male neighbor might have been interested in the female neighbor, but it could have been purely a chance to have a drink out of the house/flat.

I think he was just having drinks with a friend otherwise he would not have been so open with the wife. If I were the wife I would be thrilled that my man was so honest. If I were the neighbor, I would make sure I remained friends only with the man out of respect for his devotion to his wife.

The female neighbor is wrong, its not appropriate to meet someone's husband for drinks. She had interests beyond drinking and probably didn't realize he'd tell the wife who he was with. The husband seems clueless. The neighbor is wrong. If you are the wifey, keep that woman away from your husband. She is NOT your friend. If you are the neighbor, you should be ashamed, and probably are---that you got caught!

If I ever look at another woman (and I've been married for 30 wonderful years...to the same woman) I'm the first to tell my wife that it's like being on a diet but walking into a Burger King...you can look at the menu, but you have to be real careful what you order.

Basically, any person with a brain, should not put them self into a position that something can happen

I think if it had just been a chance to get out and have a drink, he would have told his wife up front, before going, maybe even asked if she wanted to join them. But since he didn't let her know up front, I think he was playing it close to the vest to see where things would go with the neighbor.
