It all has to do with your attitude. If your really sorry for what you did, you will ask God for forgiveness and avoid doing it again. Many in the bible committed fornication. King David slept with Bathsheba, he did repent and was forgiven. This is the reason Jesus died for us, so our sins can be forgiven.

There's more to having God's approval than not committing fornication etc... John 17:3 says "This means everlasting life there taking in knowledge, of you the only true God, and the one you sent forth, Jesus Christ."

The majority of religions especially monotheistic ones teach that God is forgiving if the person is repentant for any wrong doing. Be careful do not reject religion because you think it is rejecting you. Do not take notice of the "fire and brimstone type preachers" believe in yourself and in God and he will help you find the right way for you.

No it hasn't Janey! In the Christian faith, if we ask God, through His son Jesus, to forgive us for the things that we have done wrong, He will forgive us. It states this in the Lord's Prayer. If you have access to a Bible, read John 3 verses 16-21. Hopefully this passage will help to answer your question.
Have a good Christmas!

Yes, with religion it ruins u. However, Jesus is will to forgive you. He forgives all sin, no matter how bad. But u have to willingly give your life over to Him. U have to be willing to turn from your sin (not do it any more). Read this story about a former drug dealer, who Jesus saved and made him different. http://www.lvbaptist.org/testimon/zajac_mitch.htm

We can be forgiven anything. We still suffer the consequences of our actions. From disease to unwanted babies.
God is very forgiving remembering that we are dust.
He loves us and is always ready to forgive.

Only if you allow it to ruin your faith. Remember that God is merciful, and no sin is unforgivable.

Christianity (and probably other religions) are full of people who previously behaved in ways contrary to their faith -- but asking for God's forgiveness, in true sincerity, will always meet with a favorable answer.

We're never a lost cause to God. If you honestly seek out grace it is granted. God wants a relationship with all of us because He loves us all. You should look into it.

I guess that depends on the religion. Hopefully the path you want to follow isn't blocked by such shortsightedness.

Not if you were gang raped and buggered by a load of sodomites. That's okay with god, he was very happy for Lot (a righteous man, we are repeatedly told) to suggest this fate for his daughters.
