How can you be engaged to someone you havent even physically met? He/she could be telling you anything over the internet, you have to meet him in person, and date for a while so you can get to know the REAL him before you get engaged (let alone MARRIED!) The he you know may just be a fictional character.

You met him via website.. it's not real..
I think you should think about this really really hard...
You should enroll in self esteem class.. or buy a self help book..
So sorry to say but the idea of marrying a total stranger is so ridiculous, not only that, it's also very dangerous..
How do you know if the man is sincere, honest or just manipulate you, or turn out to be a con man?
Seriously, better cancel the engagement..

I think you should meet this person in real life and possibly even live with him for a while before getting hitched. Marriage is a big deal and you want to make sure you are compatible living partners before promising to be together forever, you don't want to bring children into an unstable enviornment and you don't want to go through the pain of divorce when you realize you can't really live with him after a few months. Don't rush into things! People can be engaged for a long time and it is easier to break that off than to get divorced.

You are already answering your own questions. You know he is the not the one, you are still talking to other people on that site and most importantly you have not met him. Marriage is a serious step and you need to really think it through before you make a commitment that you know you cannot keep. All you will do in the end is hurt that other person. Good luck.

I met my fiance on a dating website. He is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I think you should met and then if you hit it off, be engaged for a while. Don't go jumping into something that may later be not what you wanted. Take it from me take it slow and everything will work out!!

I know a lot of people don't take marrage as a real marrage.. most people end up getting devorsed or something!
the question is can you live with this guy you never met until you die? that is marrage! if you can not say yes right now then this is not the time to take that step!

You have already answered your own question. You know everything you are doing is wrong...you know that you are not ready to get married....to someone you've never met! Do you think this behavior will instantly change when you get married?? My guess is it will only get worse.

there is nothing wrong with being on any website it is how you conduct yourself. It is up to you to decide on if you wont to marry that guy or not.
