the adverts on the t.v are now saying about all the harmful things in the smoke but are these present in the smoke from roll ups?

they are both equally harmful, but Ive found (through personal experience) that if you have to hand-roll cigs, you usually end up smoking less just because its not always convienient to sit there and roll one up.

i used to smoke like half a pack a day, now i only smoke like 2 or 3 a day, just cause i dont always feel like rolling up

Smoking is much worse for the body than weed is. There have actually been many studies showing the positive effects that weed can have on the body, both temporary and long term. Many of these pros are intellectual. Cigs have many unnatural additives like nicotine, tar, and tons of carcinogens. Weed, like the other answerer said, is 100% 'au naturel' and contains no such chemicals. I have only smoked weed like 4 times and I don't particularly enjoy it so I'm not trying to sell it or advertise it at all here.

I don't think rollups are as bad for you as they do not contain many of the chemicals used in factory made cigarettes. I smoke rollups but I do always use a filter tip in them as this reduces the amount of tar entering the lungs. That's only my preference and I'm no Dr.

they contain less of those chemicals and you can roll them with a filter whats more most people roll them much thinner than regular cigs and smoke less of them because it takes a certain ammount of time to roll them so overall yeah they are less harmfull but you still shouldn't smoke.

Not only are they present, in hand rolled cigs you don't have a filter to remove some of it before it gets to your lungs.

You're still rolling tobacco. It's the same thing and worse since there isn't a filter on the end.
