I have this really gross ingrown hair that keeps getting all yucky but no matter what I do, I can't get it to come out. Short of surgically removing this thing, I'm stumped as to how to get rid of it.

well i just got done dealing with a pianile sist(sp?) which is basically ingrown hair with an infection, not sure if yours is anything like this but a very hot wet wash cloth helped soften it to pop

for just one hair that seems like a pimple i just squeze it til it pops and yes this can hurt like hell

but try the hot pack mentioned above

Most likely, sure. It's kind of bizarre how ingrown hairs work, but they do tend to reoccur within the same areas. I have one (not pronouncing where ;-P) that I get by and large. Nasty, yes, however that's just lifestyles. Each person gets them. Possibly you might try to hinder shaving/waxing that field for a while? I'm hoping this helps!

Apply really warm compresses to the area and peroxide. If it is infected, like a zit almost, pop it until the puss comes out of it. Then try using tweezers to remove the hair. Good luck! Clean it well with an antibacterial soap afterwards!

AH!!...use con bandage....they are like...a coin with a hole which has a cream filled in between when you put the hole over your ingrown hair....the cream will soften the skin besides the hair and then you can easily remove it by some twiser or just squze it!!
you can also use the con bandage when some fine thing gets stuck in your skin!!

Prez say take a warm towel or wash cloth and put on spot where in grown hair is. Prez say best after long hot shower. Prez say take sharp tweezer and try to get it out like a splinter. Prez say if this not work you have to wait. Prez say it will eventually come out. Prez say good luck. Prez better know.
