i worked out for the 1st time in a long time...boy, my abs feel like they are ripping apart!! Any tips to help relieve the pain? I'm at work, so certain options may not work. Thanks!

this is quite normal. try taking some painkillers like paracetamol or ibuprofen.

i work out my abs all the time i know what you mean. The more you work them the stronger they will get besides the pain means that your abs are getting stronger so it's a good thing. The best thing to do is probably rest them for now. Maybe you should start out slower

nothing...just rest flat for a time...and then slowly tighten and relax your abs muscles.
this should help...cause will increase blood circulation...
if this dosent help...try warming up your abs...like hot water bag or something like that...
then there are creams which will give that cold and hot sensation to gether...
do any thing but keep your muscles of abs moving!!

Soak in a hot bath with Epsom salts and then take a nice time to put your feet up

Yes. you can take aspirin or ibuprophen, or you can do more crunches. I suggest more crunches.
