I'd been hearing lately that red wine was so much better for you than white wine. I actually have a friend who, as she puts it, moved on over to the dark side and started drinking red although she preferred white.

Recently, I read an article quoting the American Journal of Agricultural and Food Science (??) saying white was just as healthy. I can't find the article though. Anyone read this or know where I can find it?

There are studies that any alcohol in a small amount has some benefits. However, there are more studies that show red wine being more beneficial to the heart and also possibly for alzheimers and tumors.

I believe Red wine is healthier because it has more antioxidants than the white wine.

Red Wine is healthier, but only if you drink 4oz a day, not even a full cup.

So, if your friend is an avid wine drinker, and drinks more than 4oz a day, then she should drink whatever her heart desires, cause it is not going to help her at all.

No. Red is like almost drinking grapes (duh).

It's so healthy, it prevents heart disease if drinked moderately.
