TO ROMEO - IT WAS JAMES SCOTT THAT WAS IN PRISON NOT MARTIN.

ALSO HE FOUGHT FOR THE LT HWY WT TITLE 3 TIMES AND WAS KO'ED EACH TIME BY SAAD MUHAMMAD, QAWI AND MUSTAFA MUHAMMAD

MARTIN - W 25 (KO's 17) TF 32 - W pct 78% - KO pct 53% - wins over Celestine, Scott and Burnett - KO'ed by Saad Muhammad, Qawi, J. Davis and Mustafa Muhammad

M. JOHNSON - W 43 (KO's 35) TF 49 - W pct 88% - KO pct 71% - wins over Galindez, T Behea, M. Parlov and L. Stewart - KO'ed by Saad Muhammad[2], Spinks, Mustafa Muhammad and Stewart
Won 1972 Bronze Olympic medal at Middle wt

As you can see they both were KO'ed by the same 2 fighters. Martin always came forward. Johnson was a good boxer and puncher. In this bout, Johnson plays matador to Jerry's bull. Johnson in a 11rd KO.

I AM THE BIBLE OF BOXING.

YEAH i think smitty answered this one pretty good i was thinking why would anyone want to know a prediction on these 2 when they fought in the same era in fact i thought they had met but was`nt sure i think marvin johnson would have won. i think jerry martin might have beaten james scott, scott was an interesting topic at the time he beat eddie mustapha muhammad i believe, they were trying to get a title shot for him but the loss to martin ended that i think people were afraid to fight him i think he would have stopped marvin johnson a war with matthew saad muhammad would have been a better who wins this match question.
