Sounds like a few things going on, one of which may be stress.
Definitely DO NOT rub her nose in it, it'll just stress her out and make matters worse. When she does pee on the floor use biological washing powder solution to clean it off the floor (or a special pet cleaner) normal cleaners don't take away the smell. She can smell where she has gone before and will keep returning to that spot.
Also get her a pheromone diffuser (you can get this from the vet) to reduce stress and put it where she stays overnight, this will be her "safe" place.
Take her out for a quick walk before bed and make sure there's some grass or earth where you take her. When she does go outside make a big fuss of her and give her treats.
She should improve if you do all these things at the same time. Might be worth checking out that she doesn't have a urine infection too. Hope this helps, I had the same problem with my dog for a long time, it hasn't happened now for about six months!

Were you away for the holidays? Sometimes the stress and the fact that she's back with you may entice her to behave like this in order to get attention from you.
Others are telling you to "rub her nose in it" - DON'T!! That's not the way to go.
If you catch her tinkling in the house, quickly drag her outside to finish her business. Otherwise if you scold her after the fact, she won't have any idea what you're talking about...
Instead, try to take her out for tinkle at regular times. Praise her like crazy when she does go outside. Don't give her water 2 -3 3hours before bed, and make sure that she goes pee pee before you retire for the night.
HOpefully this will help - positive reinforcement is a MUCH better training tool than negative reinforcement. Just keep that in mind. Praise her for the good things, act nonchalant or scold her about the not so good. She'll soon re-learn that peeing outside brings about praise, petting, rewards, treats, etc.

dogs do NOT know they have done wrong. They know you are angry about something and react accordingly. Your first step would be to take her to the vet to see if she has a bladder or kidney infection as this will cause her to pee.
Do not do as some animal abusers tell you to do and rub her nose in it, this will only make her fearful and confused. If a dog pees in the house it is your fault for not letting her out when she needs to go.

Does she do it in the same place? You may need to make sure you clean that area particularly well as previous scentings become habit areas. Other than that more walks, and particularly a short pee walk before bed time will help.

Regular peeing times should help. Getting your dog used to going out at certain times is one thing. What out for the signs, i.e. the dog pacing, hanging around at the door, making noises etc.

You should crate her at night until she really gets the idea that peeing at night is not okay.
You may also want to have her checked for a urinary tract infection. This is a common cause of accidents in adult dogs.
Good Luck!

Sounds cruel but my friend used to rub her dogs nose in the pee and she wouldn't do it there again - she thought it worked. with my own dog we got some kind of special spray from the pet shop and sprayed it on newspaper beside the door - so she went there and gradually she started going outside. And make sure you give the wee dog plenty of praise when she does it right! Good Luck !!

take her outside b4 u go to bed. then put newpaper down in her kennel and put her in there. she's only 2, she probly cant hold it that long. the next morning when u wake up. itll probly stop when she's older. just like a 2yr old child cant hold it by his\herself and sumtimes they cant go by themselves. but they grow out of it.
