Place eggs (the quantity depends on how many you want; if you do 6 eggs, you'll have 12 devilled eggs) in saucepan or pot and add water (enough to cover the eggs). Boil for about 10-12 minutes, then drain hot water from pan and add cool water to cool eggs (this may need repeated if doing immediately, otherwise let them sit in cool water). Crack shells by tapping all edges of the eggs and peel shells off. Rinse the eggs to make sure all shell is removed. Slice each egg in half longwise and remove yolks, setting them in a medium bowl. Place whites on serving tray. To the yolks add mustard, mayo (I also use Miracle Whip too), and a little bit of salt and sugar a little at a time until the mixture fits your liking (for the mustard and mayo I usually start with a tablespoon or two of each and add what I think it needs be the tablespoon). Mix ingredients well, I usually just use a large fork, but you can use a mixer. Spoon mixture into whites. Chill at least an hour to stiffen.
