Why is it that the fact that some wars in history have had religious underpinnings that everyone makes large sweeping statements about war and religion? Not all wars have religious reasons. And the ones that do, are because of religious fanatics that have no idea what the true meaning of Christianity is.

About the prophets, which ones are you talking about? If you actually read what the prophets preach you will see that they are proclaiming the judgment of God on those who have turned away from Him. The result of this treason? - Nations would come in and make war with Israel! Peace?

Jesus Himself said "I did not come to bring peace, but a sword." People have assumptions that lead them to make statements that are not grounded in fact.

It is best to keep our Father the Lord our God first in all things Jesus gave us the commandment to Love the Lord our God to Love our neighbor, and to Love our enemy it is best to keep the Word of God in your heart in the letter to the seven churches in Revelation God only found favor with one it was the one who kept the Word of God
It is best to have a relationship with our Father God and forget religion for religion will not get you into the kingdom of heaven
God Bless You/.

How do you know God sent prophets? God doesn't do SHlT for man; he doesn't even observe us. Billions upon Billion of people shouting for his mercy, his approval, his power to change the world, but has he? No, he sits there, universes away, twiddling his thumbs. He has seen the beginning and has seen the end. He knows how it all goes down. So what else can he do but wait for death? KILL HIMSELF. GOD IS DEAD GOD IS DEAD GOD IS DEAD.

Religions give hope and comfort. There is no reason to "get rid" of them.
