I've just tried searching for you & so far have found lots of sites that sell various Royal Doulton dog figurines but not site giving a comprehensive list of all the figures that are available, etc.
However, I did turn up this site:

It gives details of a magazine about collecting Doulton & also details of books & price guides which you may be able to order from your local library. (The book is £48 - the price guides are more reasonable at just under £15)
Though I did spot a book specifically about Royal Doulton Animals on Amazon

This site gives details of a Canine Collectors Yahoo Group - possibly one of the members on there may be able to steer you in the right direction to getting the information that you really want
