Maybe not but if you get married it would probably have to be a Jewish wedding if your cool with that.

Obviously it's a factor for you, since you are considering not asking her out because of it. That's a shame. Thousands upon thousands of Christians and Jews have dated over the centuries. Many of those relationships even became marriages. They made it work. You could, too, but only if you respect her right to be who she is and she respects yours.

Those who point to the "don't be unevenly yoked" phrase as an excuse to not even try are essentially gutless. Even the most ideal marriages have their challenges. Interracial and interfaith marriages have a few additional ones, but they're not insuperable.

Not necessarily. I'm Catholic and, although I've never dated a Jew myself, I've known other Catholics who have. I even know a Catholic whose wife is Jewish.

I dated a Jewish girl for a year. We eventually broke up because we moved away, but we knew it wouldn't work because of the religious differences.

She might say no if it is your mission to convert her. If you don't have you have issues with the difference in religions, then she probably won't either. Let her know that you are interested in the person she is and tell her why you want to date. (Why are you attracted to her?) Even if you two don't date, you can benefit from your friendship.

I am not sure, I have never met her. Some people can work within and interfaith relationship some cannot. You will never know until you ask.

She may. But ask her out anyway. It's a date...you're not getting married.

She is the only one who can answer that question for you. You won't get a date if you ask us.... so pick up the phone already! :-)

Possibly, but by and large I tend to doubt it.
