Not everything changes with time. Only those within the realm outside of truth change as they are wavering in their ignorance. And no, this forum has not dented my philosophy in the slightest and has done nothing except affirm my assumption of the laziness and ignorance of 99.9% of the worlds population on both sides of the coin.

No it hasn't changed anything for me, but it does give an opportunity to communicate knowledge in the area.
The general emotional tones of fear, apathy, and overt and covert hostility, hate, anger and antagonism, from the users are no suprise to me . That is the general condion or state of society at this time.
THIS is what needs to change in my opinion, not religious "beliefs" or "disbeliefs".
The only method available on YA is to supply answers to questions that attempt to educate and contain factual information and real knowledge..... and try to ignore the general abuse and intolerance.
This is why we need more understanding of religion and spirituality to change or improve the general tone level.
It's lack of understanding on both sides that needs to change.
YA is not going to change much, but at least it give an opportunity to communicate by asking and answering questions for those who want to.
That's tons better than silence.

Some of my responses have changed the way I answered questions, forcing me to think more deeply on the subject than I originally planned.

Also, the more yahoos I meet, the more they reconfirm my decision to be non-affiliated, with the exception of being a Wiccan, and that for nostalgiac, sentimental, and supportive reasons only.

It has made me less tolerant of the various religions. It has emphasized for me how ridiculous they are and how ridiculous the people who follow them are. I didn't believe before, but now it's like there's this big, bright, glaring red lighted sign that says "This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard" with a big arrow pointing at a representation of God.

no, not really as I still have the same basic concept I came here with. the only real difference in one Religion and another are the NAMES they refer to GOD as along with the difference in the Rituals and Ceremonies used to Adore, Honor, Praise, Worship, Pray to and Petition, Thank, Etc. Etc. GOD. GOD is to big to be in only one place and there are many paths and ways to reach one's destination as one can walk, ride a bike, motorcycle, take a train, a bus, a plane, etc. and still get to where one wants to go. getting to ones destination is the important thing --- not how

There seems to be many more radical Christians and people who believe the Bible literally than I could have ever imagined.

It also lead me to the most beautiful person in the world who has changed my life for the better.--------->Julia.

It's made me realize that alot of people have given up on God only because of the flaws of Christianity...which is sad but their choice.

I don't think anybody finds enlightenment here. Debating ideas can help people to clarify their own thinking.
