Why, when someone answers your question, do 300 other people have to answer the same?

See the NHS question recently - was there any need for everyone on the planet to answer once the answer was given? Still passes the time though

Sometimes you think you are the first to answer the question but when you send it there are suddenly loads of answers there

Sometimes it's nice to have multiple answers just to confirm that at least one person knows what they are talking about. Especially in this section where a total lack of knowledge doesn't seem to prevent ANYONE from making their best guess.

What does "NHS" stand for, anyway? "No Hot Stuff?" "Nice High Smile?" "No High Standards?"
