Nothing. It is my religion now and I am much happier than I was when I was a Christian and having to carry a bible in my pocket all the time due to Baptist, Methodists, Pentecostals and such attacking my beliefs.

With Wicca we have no holy written word to go by we go within to get in touch with Deity. I had to laugh when I read answers such as we reach the third degree and then pledge allegiance to the horned god Lucifer. Lucifer is a christian mythical being.

True Wiccans live better lives than Christians because Christians like to tell everyone else how to live but when we point out their sin they use the excuse that they are just saved sinners and are human and will sin but are washed by Jesus blood, and they will also say we can't judge them because God is working on them and is not finished with them yet. But we believe in personal responsibility and therefore we live better lives because we understand that whatever we send out comes back to us, where Christians do wrong willingly because they have a one way ticket punched and by God they are saved by grace so works does not matter.

Most Christians are pagans with the name Christian atached. All their holidays including Christmas is pagan and the bible condemns pagan practices even if the people of God think they are taking the practice over for him. December 25 is the birthday of many pagan sun gods, Santa and his reindeer and the sleigh is a copy of the holy king and his stags pulling his sleigh. the tree is specifically condemned in Jer.10:3 Early Christians did not use instruments of music in their worship one reason because pagans did this, but the one church that does not use instruments of music is ridiculed and made fun of by the denominational churches. The word reverend was used only once in the KJ version and it was used to describe God I think if memory serve me right you can find it in psalms 111:11 but remember it is only in the King James version. but denominationalists like to call their preachers reverend.

According to the New Testament the office of bishop, pastor, and elder are different words to describe the one office of elder. this is not a preacher however elders can be preachers but not every preacher is an pastor.

I mentioned just a few things how most Christians stray from the bible but then they have the odacity to say wicca is evil becuse it goes against bible teachings. The bible condemns people of God who disrespect the bible mush more than umbelievers disrespecting it by not doing what it says.

Heck the majority of Christians will argue that baptism in not essential when everyday at least once I post many scriptures saying different.

The celebration of birthdays is a pagan traditon in and of itself and the only mention of a birthdaycelebration in the bible is when john lost his head due to herod celebrating his birthday. so my point is that even though people call themselves Christian they are just pagans due to their practices that are far from bible teachings. Birthday were originally the day a person recieved gifts to honor the god inside themselves. their higher self that is in touch with diety. Gifts were givin to honor this higher self.

The bible demands God's people turn from such practices but then Jesus understood they wold not because he said in his own words in vain they do worship me teaching for doctrine the comandments of men. In VAIN Jesus said.

If Wicca answer your spiritual questions; there is NOTHING wrong with Wicca.

I will say that Wicca is a composite religion that is only about 60 years old.

Gerald Brouseau Gardner invented Wicca based on three different philsophys he studied.

Freemasonry, mental mysticism (he learned while working as a civil servant in India), and Witchcraft he learned after retiring and reurning to England.

The name Wicca was chosen because it sounds like the old English word Wyk (which means to bend or shape)

Well, it's the wrong religion for people who are not willing to take personal responsibility for their own actions; who want some mythical personification of evil to blame their bad actions on.

It is the wrong religion for people who need to have some written "holy" words which they can use to justify their bigotry or serve as an inspiration for oppressing others.

It's the wrong religion for people who need to be *told* what is right action and wrong action.

It is the wrong religion for people who need to make others wrong in order to feel right about their own decisions.

It's the wrong religion for people who want a "get out of the consequences of your choices, free" card.

And it's the wrong religion for people who think that the green and lovely planet we live on is a possession that we can use and abuse and have no concern for.

The only thing I've found wrong with Wicca in all the years I've practiced it, is it's largely misunderstood.

Nothing at all if you follow the Rede. Some people say they're Wiccan and don't even know what the Rede is nor follow it.

Is that witchcraft? Or something different. I don't know much about witchcraft but it seems dark-natured because you can cast spells and manipulate people and the environment, supposedly. I think that anything that goes against nature and the natural order of things, and that dabbles with manipulation of people and the environment by supernatural means is probably not a good thing. But i'm no expert.
