chop up some walnuts...use cinnamon...nutmeg...any other extract would do...heck anything for a different taste. I've never used vanilla either but give me pecans or walnuts or hazelnuts/macadamias any day!

Vanilla is between the main undemanding flavorings interior the kitchen, the only element you could replace for this is a few thing which you're probable even much less probably to have, mutually with almond extract. The extract does not do something to the consistancy of the cookie, so it won't completly destroy them to no longer have it (in comparison to baking soda), even though it is going to impression the flavour. i may be able to upload somewhat brown sugar...

I only know of vanilla extract and artificial vanilla, but if you have vanilla ice cream you might try melting a little and using that in the recipe.

i dont know of anything, vanilla extract has a unique taste to it, but maybe you could just bypass that ingredient all together and see how they come out
