Research on sexual transmission of hepatitis c through unprotected sex has not proven to be so. According to research, sexual transmission of hepatitis C between monogamous partners appears to be uncommon. Whether hepatitis C is spread by sexual contact has not been conclusively proven, and studies have been contradictory. Surveys of spouses and monogamous sexual partners of patients with hepatitis C show that less than 5 percent are infected with HCV, and many of these have other risk factors for this infection. For this reason, changes in sexual practices are not recommended for monogamous patients. Testing sexual partners for anti-HCV can help with patient counseling. People with multiple sex partners should be advised to follow safe sex practices, which should protect against hepatitis C as well as hepatitis B and HIV. However, do use condoms to protect against all these risks.

It doesn't look like you even talked to him regarding the situation with the razors. You need to communicate better (if he's being difficult, too bad, they're your razors that YOU payed for, so he has to pay if he wants to use them). If it bugs you that much, you can buy a chest and lock stuff like that in the chest. Of course, tell him you lied. Hep C can be dangerous (eg. cirrhosis of the liver), and he does have a point, however, I don't think you can be evicted for that reason (it's not an unreasonable health risk, but hey, who knows, you could have caught it from your roommate). This is why going to extremes isn't the best idea.

no. from what i know, hep c is not usually transmitted through sexual contact, but rather through contaminated blood, which means sharing of needles for illegal drug use or through blood tranfusion. do not take the risk of having unprotected sex though, as i think there is still no known vaccination against hep c and i heard there is no 100% cure for hep c till today. you can do a research to check it out if you're interested or consult a doc for more information.

Its possible but there is a very low risk. The primary way someone would contract Hep C is through sharing needles with an infected person. Basically any other way of transmission is unlikely.

It's transmitted by blood contact primarily. I suppose it's possible to contract it during sex if there is any transfer of blood. Contact the board of health or a clinic in your area for more information. Check the website below and look up other info for yourself.

ONLY IF THERE'S AN OPEN WOUND OR SMTH. IT TAKES MORE FOR THAT TYPE OF HEPATITIS TO BE TRANSMITTED.
