There is no where to "get away" too. Just more BS, nothing ever changes.
Put on headphones and listen to JS bach, or
just accept the fact that we are really nothing in this vast universe, and this stuff REALLY does not matter in the BIG picture.
Dont run away, face the problems and accept them.

The problem w/ leaving is eventually, you have to come back and your problems are still waiting for you when you do. Starting over in a new place doesn't work either, b/c you can't just leave your troubles behind. What you need are ways to cope w/ everyday life.
Try meditation. Get a CD of relaxing music or sounds (I prefer the ocean myself) and every day just give yourself an hour or so kick back in a dark room and imagine yourself in a place you'd rather be. This also works well when combined w/ aromatherapy.
If you like the outdoors, when the weather is nice on the weekends, find somewhere peaceful to go take a walk. The exercise will release endorphins, which will help elevate your mood. Even better would be to have a daily exercise routine to get that endorphin flow going on a regular basis.
Taking up a hobby can also help relax you. Make some time for yourself, maybe a couple of hours on the weekends, to do what YOU like to do.
Taking time for yourself is so important, and often underestimated. I was told once that everyone has an emotional reservoir, and that it gets lower every time you give of yourself to others. The only way that reservoir gets refilled is when you stop and take time to do so.

Try using head phones, turn it up very loud to your favorite music. You caould also try an Out of Body experience, meditation or take a trip away to some place you've never been, you could even go stay at a motel for a night or two, that might do the trick, one that has a pool, spa, bar, work out room, the whole works that usually does it for me.
Just relax, tell your self it's only temporaray, this too shall pass. The essents is at ease....

When u think in realistic terms you can never leave this world while you are alive . Even if you go away for some time you have to come back . Best thing to do is to start living carefree and to see this world as if watching from riverside as you let it flow unconcerned without bothering to change it's course or anything , then i hope you will never need to leave this planet. take care

Through a counseller - they sometimes no of free retreats.
I know I would like to just leave and be quiet for a while I am with you there.
If you can't do that - lock yourself in you house or apartment - turnoff all phones - t.v.s etc. and just be with yourself.
Don't answer the door either.
Let people you know and love that you are just taking a mental vacation.
Open a bottle of wine, maybe put on soft music and have a bubble bath - yes even if your a guy!!!
Enjoy yourself again!!
God bless and enjoy.

You can go on a vacation, take up yoga, meditation, or have a massage. It seems that you need to relax and try to organize your thoughts so you don't seem so overwhelmed. I have the same problem some days and I get in a nice, hot bath with candles, and relax. Do some deep breathing exercises (that also works too) or you can just picture yourself somewhere that you find relaxing. Hope this helps.

Nature, beach, waterfalls, mountains. All those wonderful things restore the spirit like nothing else. Even hugging a dog or cat can do wonders.Yoga can be very helpful if you let yourself get into it, just be sure to get a very good yoga teacher and you should leave very relaxed and peaceful when you are finished with class.

I would suggest purchasing or renting a small sailboat. Sailing out into a bay or lake and throwing out the anchor. This would leave you totally alone but only a few hundred feet away from civilization. Check eBay for a cheap twenty something foot sailboat.

The point to getting away from it all is contrast. For example, my work is with computers. It is highly technical and demanding. As a means of getting away from it I cook. Cooking well is an art and it allows me to forget technical details altogether. Another example is I rollerblade in parks. Fresh air, my headphones on and pretty girls to smile at. You can completely forget about everything. A friend of mine who does the same work as I do goes fishing. He might not even bait his hook, I don't know. The point is that it is in complete contrast to what he normally does so realaxes and refreshes him.

Well just take off somewhere whithout telling anyone. Go somewhere where noone knows you, rent a motel room and just recollect yourself. When I think "can things get anyworse" I just pray, lay your problems in God's hands. Nothing is ever too bad that he can't take care of. Have a Merry Christmas!
