This does not make any sense. What do you mean? John the Baptist did not have anything to do with being born again.

John the Baptist was the forerunner of Jesus Christ. John's mother Elizabeth was actually related to Mary. He wasn't funny upstairs. He was preparing a deaf people to the coming Messiah. Some listened and were baptized by John. John said he would baptize with water, but that the one that would come after Him, Jesus, would baptize with the Holy Spirit. One becomes born again when they place their faith in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.

Actually John The Baptist has nothing to do with being born again.

John baptized with water, and being born again is supposed to mean being filled with the Holy Spirit (a spiritual transformation not a physical one).

Being born again is accepting Jesus as Lord.
