Less than 4% of Catholic priests have been accused of pedophelia. This is actually less than the percentage in the general population. It is less than the percentage of teachers, scout leaders, and coaches who are pedophiles.
Would you also say that these profession are FULL of pedophiles.
And no, it is not mainly a Catholic problem. Because the Catholic ministry feel that celebacy leads to a hightened relationship with God meaning that a bunch of sexually frustrated men are surrounded by young boys.
I think it's only young boys as the Church aren't exactly up on women's freedom either.
