I am 98lbs and am 5'2" which gives me a BMI of 17.9 and anything below 18.5 is suppose to be underweight. I'm Asian so my bone structure is really small. I am fairly thin but I don't feel like I am underweight or that I look anorexic.
Does it make a difference sine I'm asian? Should I worry about it? I have no health problems but I don't want to have any later in life either.

BMI is a load of CRAP. It may give extremely obese (but average framed) people SOME idea of where they stand. However, don't pay attention to the BMI. Instead go by body fat % (you can get that measured at most gyms). According to the BMI, even if I was 2% body fat, I'd be "overweight" and should lose 14 lbs. It works both ways, so someone with a small frame could be perfectly healthy, but seem "underweight" by the BMI.

DON'T PANIC!!! BMI is only a fair indicator of where you stand in terms of your weight. It doesn't take things like body frame into account, and if your bone structure is small as you say then your weight is just fine. P.S.: When I joined the Air Force my BMI was 17.6, and I was thin like you but I didn't have any health problems and I wasn't anorexic. Now my BMI is 26.8, but again I'm not concerned about it because I'm in good health and my body fat percentage is somewhere between 10% and 12%. The scale and the BMI calculation DO NOT tell the whole story.

properly, there's a unfold for the suitable bodyweight, yet a coarse estimate is this: At 5 ft, you may desire to be one hundred lbs, and upload 5 lbs for each inch after that. So, once you're 5 foot seven, you may desire to weigh a hundred thirty five lbs, supply or take 5 lbs.

You are probably okay, considering you have a small frame. You can always have your body fat percentage checked to make sure you are healthy. If you are worried, you should see your doctor. HTH : )

If you're really worried about your weight, I think it would be best if you visited a dietician. My mum is one and they can advise you on how to maintain a healthy weight and diet.
