His little teeth are sharp aren't they? Try getting a soft rubbery toy and play with that with him instead of your hand or ears or nose. A stocking with a knot in it will help. Light weight leather gloves will work also. Anything that he can sink those pearly whites into without hitting your skin will benefit and keep the playing fun for both you and him.
Enjoy....they grow up so fast.

Teach your puppy this is in no way acceptable!
My pup stopped this with me by the time she was seven in a half weeks old. With the others in the family is a different story.
If one plays rough with a pup it is going to use it's teeth. If someone is not consistent with a puppy it will use it's teeth. Just saying one dose not want a dog to bite hands or anything else is just words, one needs to teach a pup this is unacceptable.
Biting my hands or other body parts means I loose use of them for some time, up to a couple days. I have health problems and biting my hands can not be tolerated, ever! This is of course a non negotiated thing, therefore this is pretty much the first thing taught....
Now to get it through the rest of the family's heads.. people are harder to train then dogs...
BTW you do not have to hit the pup, you do not need to buy anything. When the pup even is thinking of putting teeth on a body part make a bad noise say no.

Wanted to give you some websites that show you how to handle puppy biting. There is *no need* to strike, "lightly tap", or hit your dog on any part of his body. Teaching bite inhibition is very important and every member of your family must be consistent with your pup, or the problem will certainly grow worse. The sites below will show you exactly how to teach your dog, without having to use positive punishment.

I used to wet an old face cloth and put in the freezer, after it gets hard give it to the pup to chew on. It will make his gums feel better and he'll be less likely to chew on you. If he's biting just for something to do or he's playing rough that's a different problem. A firm no or put him in his crate if he has one.

My mother used this method on all 4 of our dogs. (and many others but 4 is the most we've had at one time.) You roll up a newspaper, and everytime the puppy does something unacceptable (Jumping, biting, peeing on the floor) you hit him a little with it (Not hard, just a tap) soon enough they get they point and you won't even have to tap them with it anymore, just hit it against your hand and the noise it makes will be enough. While playing with your puppy, when he starts biting, hold his mouth shut and say "NO BITE" firmly. Then get a toy and put it in his mouth and continue play. Repeat these actions and he'll be trained in no time. Good luck.

Well, you can do a couple of things. First buy some Bitter Apple Spray, and when you know the dog will be around you put it on your hand, and it will give the dog a bad taste when it is around you or you can try really hot sause.
