Would you mind your gf/wife earn more money than you or live into her appartment?

I can admit that some guys could be touchy about this sort of thing. I suppose it depends a lot on the type of guy it is and how you two are together. I'm not too sure I would be happy to move in with my girlfriend into her place per se. If you really want it to work maybe a good idea would be to have you both move into a new place.

Then the new apartment is as much yours as it is his and I know I would feel better about that. No matter how long you both live in your apartment I believe he will still be "your apartment" and that could become a source of conflict.

I'd dump him asap. If he likes another girl and she him, WHAT ARE YOU DOING??? Real love doesn't play games or have wandering eyes, it's committed and hard work. You MUST see this as a red flag, a deal breaker, strike three. Your young, i'm guessing, you shouldn't even be considering a SERIOUS relationship that is going to cause you insecurity. Have fun, don't become overly invested in this, WHAT? you can't flirt? Move on, the writing is on the wall and it spells trouble. Do yourself a favor and cut the guy loose, if it is destined to be, it will run it's course and he'll be back. But why you would take him back only you can answer.

It would depend. If we had the same type of job, i.e. Engineers at car companies it would hurt my pride, but if i were something like a school teacher or police officer or anything where there is a fixed salary scale i would not mind. I also wouldnt mind if my wife made more if she was Way Smarter than me.

My g/f earns twice what i do, but its cool. Its not llike the old days where guys have to earn more to feel like a man.

I still treat her and take her out, so she's not losing out on anything. She just earns a damn good wage.

More power to her if she earns more than me. I would absolutely respect her for that. About the moving in to her place, maybe, if she allows me to split the rent with her (and provided I can afford her choice of place).

I don't mind at all...if she is making more, that shows she is capable...i wld be happy for her...of cos she must not show disrespect for me cos she is making more money...a person that makes more then the other doesn't mean they are smarter or more intelligent...so never look down on anyone.

As long as I got money, I don't care where it comes from. and if I have a gf/wife, she has got to live with me so we can file joint income tax returns. :)
