Is 'i am sorry but i am ill and going home from work now, so will have to call off tonightxx' a really bad excuse?

Could be genuine dont torment yourself over it the guy could be ill. But if it happens on a regular basis get yourself another partner as he is not commited.

well could be a legit excuse depends on how well you know the person and how often they send you this text. from past experiences usually means they really are sick but then again unless you talk to them on the phone you won't know. Give him a call and see what's up and just say "hey I hope you feel better, what's wrong?" I know there's a lot of viruses going around right now so might not be a lame excuse.

Well cud be worse she might have said I’m sick, you say how bad, she says she has Anal Glaucoma, when you ask what the hell that is, she replies I cant see my *** coming out on this date tonight, that’s a bad excuse, lol

Look at it this way, you're not going to find out (at least not right away) so just accept the person for their word at this stage. If they want to see you they will get back to you to make a new time when the feel better.

i say ur looking into it too much. sure it may sound bad but thats not a bad excuse really.when it comes to school tell me one that hasnt benn said by a person that works acually.
