No...you'll be o.k....you only feel a little poke in the skin....nothing to traumatize yourself over. Just look away, and if you have a good nurse, you won't feel anything!

Coming from a person who gets panic attack on needle days, it doesn't really hurt that much. The stress over having it done is almost worse. I bring something else to do and take deep breaths during the draw. Sometimes i don't even feel anything and then it's over and I feel so silly for getting so worked up. Ah, hope I don't pass this on to my kids..

You will feel a little "pinching" or "stinging" when the needle pierces your skin, but you should feel nothing after that.
It's OK to look away, really, it is. Also, when we panic, our muscles get tense and our breathing quickens. None of this helps. So, take slow, long, deep breaths in through your nose, and slowly out through your mouth. That's a very simple relaxation technique, and it makes stuff like this easy.

Other than the little prick, no it does not hurt.
Try deep breathing...
besides, its better to have the test done and know what's going on (by what it reveals) than to be sick or whatever and not know because you were too scared to take the test.
Take a friend along with you for support.

It will hurt, but nothing terrible, and its over pretty quick. In terms of pain, I would much rather have blood drawn than stub my toe. Just look the other way when they are sticking the needle in.

It feels like a thicker than average needle going into the vein of your arm. then like blood is being pulled out of the arm, dull aching pain along with sharp stinging pain too, also they have to move the needle in a circular motion to keep the blood going.

some people are better than others , sometimes if you close your eyes, you wont feel a thing, the worst is a little poke, I would just close your eyes, it is a breeze.
