Never ask a lady such a private question, if you are a gentleman, or a lady yourself. It demonstrates a lack of respect, little or no class, and simply poor form. (Psst! It's none of your business!)
If your are at some point intimate with a lady, she will tell you if/when she believes her relationship with you has reached a level whereas she can confide in you and may be willing to share that detail, if she believes it appropriate at that time.
