Literally translated, "Garam Chai," means "Hot Tea." To those of us who grew up in India, traveling in trains meant waking up to the familiar cries of Chai.... garam chai! floating above the cacophony as the train would come to a grinding halt at a busy junction. With GaramChai.com, we attempt to evoke that nostalgia for desi stuff, community and belonging which, well, only a Garam cuppa Chai can! Categories of Tea include : Green Tea, Assam Black,Darjeeling Black,Dooars Region,Kangra Valley,Nilgiri Hills, Oolong Teas, Flavored Teas,Exotic Teas and Herbal Tea.
There's no disputing the health benefits of tea, though. There have been no less than 2000 studies done to confirm those health benefits in the past year. Black tea, the main ingredient in the chai tea recipe, contains the most powerful antioxidants that science knows. Tea and chai tea help prevent and fight many different kinds of cancer, lower cholesterol and high blood pressure may reduce the symptoms of Alzheimer's disease and are being studied for their ability to boost the immune system. That's an awful lot of goodness - and it's just a start.
The fact is that every ingredient in the chai tea recipe is good for you, and when you put them all together they pack a powerful punch for your immune system.
The next time you're considering a hot, spicy, sugar free beverage, think exotic AND healthy, and brew up a cup of delicious, sugar-free chai. Both your body and your taste buds will thank you.

Green tea, and I will tell you why. It may help to speed up metabolism, stop Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease, prevent and treat cancer, prevent degradation of cell membranes, treat multiple sclerosis, reduce effects of cholesterol, Japanese researchers say if you drink 5 cups of it a day you will burn 70 to 80 calories, and it may have soothing effect when mixed with honey to treat a soar throat. Most of these are all unproven claims but all in all, it is very healthy for you, although I believe that most teas produce the same effect and health benefits.

I'm drinking it right now and it's pretty healthy for you (all tea is) they are high in AGCG antioxidants. I don't know what that means but it's good. I've heard it helps with weight loss. You should do decaf though cuz caffiene is really bad for you!

Invest in smaller plates. Little crockery means portion control is a lot easier – those diminutive portions suddenly look huge and you’ll be happier to use less.
