This is a dangerous question to answer. Unless you are a doctor or pharmacist, it is not advisable to self-medicate.
That aside, common medications for common ailments include:
1. headache: paracetamol (2 x 500mg tablets up to 6 times daily)
2. runny nose: chlorpheniramine (1 x 4mg tablet 3 times a day)
3. diarrhoea: usually will stop itself, recommended treatment nowadays is plenty of water.
Anything more than the above, see a doctor. Never take antibiotics without a prescription.

Try rxlist.com, it will give you the details of the drug, the disease, etc. But remember, do not use it on yourself or others, unless your a doctor.
