the known verse in Leviticus

Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman.

So according to that the Bible forbids male anal sex.

It dose not forbid two men having sexual fealings for one another.
It dose not forbid for them to have a relationship

the only thing it says is that the two should not have anal sex.

so where dose the Bible say that being gay is wrong?

No where.

The passages in Leviticus, understood IN THE CONTEXT of the time and place, are not an admonishment against loving sexual relationships between people of the same sex but instead against sex as a form of domination and control. Besides, these passages are part of the Holiness Code which is not binding to modern day Christians (or anyone else for that matter).

The story of Sodom and Gomorrah was a warning against rape, inhospitality and xenophobia. The reason for Sodom's destruction is made clear in Ezekiel 16:48-50. According to Ezekiel, the sins of Sodom were pride, laziness, being inhospitable, neglecting the needs of the poor, greed, and idolatry (the worshiping of idols). Nothing about homosexuality is mentioned. If Jude 1:17 describes anything about the sexual immorality and perversion in Sodom and Gomorrah, it's describing RAPE.

1 Corinthians 6:9 was a mistranslation of the word "malakee". It's used elsewhere in the Bible to mean someone who lacks discipline or one who is morally weak, and never is it used in reference to sexuality or gender.

1 Timothy 1:9-10? Also a mistranslation. 1 Timothy was an admonishment against male prostitution, not committed, loving same sex relationships.

The words "physin" and "paraphysin" in Romans 1:26-27 have also been mistranslated. Contrary to popular belief, the word "paraphysin" does not mean "to go against the laws of nature", but rather implies action which is uncharacteristic for that particular person. An example of the word "paraphysin" is used in Romans 11:24, where God acts in an uncharacteristic (paraphysin) way to accept the Gentiles. When the scripture is understood correctly, it implies that it would be unnatural for heterosexuals to live as homosexuals and for homosexuals to live as heterosexuals.

My understanding is that, as mentioned above, the Bible forbids sexual relations between members of the same sex. This implies that homosexual inclinations are not ideal, in the same sense that ideally one is not blind, deaf, dumb or otherwise disabled. In this sense, it is an unfortunate condition to be in, but it is the disorder (homosexuality) and not the individual which should be condemned. It is something that one should try to overcome, in my opinion. 1 Corinthians 6:9 also condemns homosexuality, as well as 1 Timothy 1:10. Similarly, the Holy Qur'an and other sacred Scriptures also teach the same moral principles.

However, pure and chaste love, friendship and affection between men is nowhere condemned in the Bible. It is only the sexualization of that love which is declared to be an abomination, worthy of the most severe punishment in the eyes of God.

Romans 1 or 2.

Jesus said "'in the beginning God made them male and female and the two became one flesh." Sorry, but He doesn't say "male and male" or "female and female"

besides there are other things in the OT that Jesus didn't contradict. There was even a sinner woman whom Jesus showed compassion on, but even with compassion He said things like "Go and sin no more" and "Stop sinning before something worse happens to you."

He never said, "Okay, it's alright to have sex out of marriage" or "Okay, now it's okay to be homosexual".

ANd these were a pretty big deal in this society, He would have said something.

Anyway, hope this is helpful.

listen first of all the bible you are talking about is being changed from the truth to the falseness by the people of the book(jew and christains.) so i would never belive there is a real bible or torah.. The people of the book changed it for thiere personals cases (to has" penifit" so when they want to steal ,they just say stealing is not worng ,it is not taboo in the bible so just go and steal (because they are theves .also when they like women to be in everywhere (freed from everything but from men) so they just say it is not forpiden,so they let or make women like animals getting raped ,***,being whorse, everything ,so the people (preachers, pobs say it is ok no problems God is taking our sins on him so people just do what ever you want no worry Jesus is with us he is the savior ..shet to you it is nonsence. so nothing in the bible is correct only fews ,so that why Allah damned them to the date of judgement(all praise to Allah).
any how it is obvious being as a sissey it is taboo,to act like the opposite side it is wrong ,forpeden,taboo,prohebited.in(Islam,jews,christianity.)so it is simple (never good, not accepted )stop doing that just go and get marry .
good luck.
look for the truth ,read toooo much about religion ,read lot about Allah..

Gay people. They have jobs. They drive to wal mart. They walk the dog. They see movies. They travel. They eat, drink, sleep, swim, pOop, love, laugh, cry, dream, fear, walk, talk, and breath. I say that if two responsible adults, who are un-related, who can handle marrage and all that comes with it, who are over 18, and who are in love, should be able to marry. But they cant? why should some law or anything else take that away from them? Like i said, they are in love, over 18, un related, and responsible. Why should something like their reproductive organs matter? a straight couple who cant have kids are aloud to get married, yet we wont let gays marry because they cant have kids? Gay people dont do weird voodoo rituals, they arent anti-religion, they dont worship the devil, they dont hurt, rape, or kill people, they dont all have STDs, they dont promote unsafe sex. gay people are NORMAL. no matter what some old book says.

It doesn't specifically say that but it implies the you shouldn't lie with a man as you would a woman, meaning what you do in the bed with a woman,

it doesn't say Sex, anal sex, foreplay, C0ck suckin, eating, none of that- but we know what men and women do in bed together with out any knowledge , its our animal instict.

The Bahai faith accepts you as gay however gay sex is not permitted, for many reasons, but we will accept you and pray for you to overcome your desires, as i am sure when most gay people realize they are gay they usually would rather be straight.
who would want this kind of hassle ect...

Ps drinking alcohol is also not permitted but some people do it.

we still love them no matter what.

The Bible says much about things that were culturally and religiously not "acceptable" (or were acceptable) for that day and time. Take the "spilling of seed" referring to masturbation for example, which was likely because of the tribal desires/need to produce heirs and offspring and the like, along with male-dominated thinking along those lines and if you "waste" your seed it's a major issue... but then they were also told not to eat pork, sea animals of any kind, and so forth, beat their wives and generally do a huge amount of other things (or refrain from) that we think is "cultural" or "unacceptable" now and even THEN changed from era to era, so someone's got to pick and choose?

What's it going to be? We deal with the real world or pick and choose, cafeteria-style, from the Bible what we're going to follow and not, and to condemn people and so forth? Hypocrisy at it's finest.

Jesus states VERY plainly the ONLY ordained relationship is between a male and a female. You also have to explain why every time a homosexual act is mentioned in the Bible it is ALWAYS in a negative way.

Matthew 19:3
The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?

4And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,

5And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?

6Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

One theory I've heard is that marriage was expected very early -- ages 13, 14, etc. If a boy did not understand his sexual inclinations that early, he would have had a family to support by the time he did and would have left his family for the community to support.

There are many evolving churches/synagogues that welcome gays/lesbians -- the fundamentalists will follow along in a few hundred years.

I think you need to read Romans chapter 1:21-32. That should sum up where it speaks of homosexuality being wrong. If you need more help, don't be afraid to ask.
