Before I answer your question I would like to share some thing from the Quran with 'Niguayona'.& Khaled......
Mohammad was never sent to force the people ..........
" We have not sent thee , O Mohammad, but [as] a mercy unto all creatures."-- The Quran,[xxi, p-326]
Islam doesnt appreciate coercion............
"There should be no coercion in the matter of faith." (2:256)
Mohammad always treated his subjects with equality and justice...............
" He himself [the prophet] gave letters of security and protection to the Jews and Christians in Arabia and never used any violence to them upon the account of religion."--[ An Account of The Rise And Progress of Mahometanism with the life of Mahomet- by HENRY STUBBE, M.A. of Christ Church- Oxford, From a manuscript copied by Charles Hornby of Pipe office in 1705, London,Luzac & Co. 1911, pg- 142-143]
Mohammad was instructed in the Quran.........
"And if anyone of the idolaters seeketh thy protection (O Muhammad), then protect him so that he may hear the word of God, and afterward convey him to his place of safety. "(The Qur’an 9:6)
What Quran says about killing of infidels and idolators......
"[2:190-192] And fight in the cause of Allah with those WHO FIGHT WITH YOU, and do not exceed the limits, surely Allah does not love those who exceed the limits. And kill them wherever you find them, and drive them out from where they drove you out, and persecution is severer than slaughter, and do not fight with them at the Sacred Mosque (in Makkah) until they FIGHT WITH YOU in it, but IF THEY DO FIGHT YOU, then slay them; such is the reward of the unbelievers. But if they desist, then surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. And fight with them until there is no persecution, and religion should be only for Allah, but if they desist, then there should be no hostility EXCEPT AGAINST THE OPPRESSORS."
This is one surah which is often mis-qouted, concealing its full contenets, by the ignorants like Khaled.
But still.........
" Invite (people) to the way of your Lord with wisdom and beautiful Preaching, and argue with them in the best ways."Quran [16:125]
Now what do I think about Islam as a religion.........
[][][][] BROTHERHOOD in ISLAM [][][][]
" We have not sent thee , O Mohammad, but [as] a mercy unto all creatures."-- The Quran,[xxi, p-326]
" And my mercy encompasseth all things." The quran,[ 7:156]
" O you men, surely we have created you of a male and a female and made you tribes and families that ye may know each other."--The Quran,[ 49:13 ]
" Whosoever is kind to to God's creatures, Allah is kind to him."--The Quran
" Who is the most favoured of Allah ? He from whom greatest good comes to his creatures."--The Quran
" All his creatures are Allah's family for thier subsistance is from him, therefore the most beloved of Allah is the person who does greatest good to Allah's creatures."--The Quran
[][][][] JUSTICE in ISLAM [][][][]
" Make peace among them with justice and act equitably, surely Allah loves those who act equitably."--The Quran [49:9]
[][][][] TOLERANCE in ISLAM [][][][]
"And if anyone of the idolaters seeketh thy protection (O Muhammad), then protect him so that he may hear the word of God, and afterward convey him to his place of safety. "(The Qur’an 9:6)
" He himself [the prophet] gave letters of security and protection to the Jews and Christians in Arabia and never used any violence to them upon the account of religion."--[ An Account of The Rise And Progress of Mahometanism with the life of Mahomet- by HENRY STUBBE, M.A. of Christ Church- Oxford, From a manuscript copied by Charles Hornby of Pipe office in 1705, London,Luzac & Co. 1911, pg- 142-143]
And see the wisdom of Mohammad.......
* One word of knowledge is of more value than the reciting of hundred prayers,
* The ink of sages is more precious than the BLOOD OF MARTYRS,
* One word of wisdom learned and communicated to a muslim brother, outweighs the prayers of a whole year,
* Wise men are successors of the prophet,
* God has created nothing better than reason. "---------------
The New World of Islam, by LOTHROP STODDARD,A.M, PhD[HARV],Chapman And Hall Ltd-1922, London, pg-28]
" He [Muhammad] did not engage in vain metaphysics but applied himself to improving the social condition of his people by regulation respecting personal cleanliness, sobriety, fasting, prayer. Above all other works, he works, he esteemed almsgiving and charity with liberalty to which the world had of late become a stranger, he admitted the salvation of men of any form of faith provided they were virtuous."--[History of the Intellectual Developement of Europe, by DRAPER, VOL.I]
These are only few of the qualities which made Islam the fastest growing religion in the world.

Islam was once a progressive belief , but somewhere along the way it regressed into fundamentalism. A religion that does not allow truth to grow instead of crystallize is not a real religion at all . If this offends you think again. One God , a loving Father and all men are brothers .

Islam is a true evil religion. Thank goodness many Muslim do not practise Islam by the book, or there will be more wars.
Hopefully one day, these poor Muslims can break free from their religion, from what I heard, it is difficult for one who is born in a Muslim family to choose to be either not involve in any religion or move to another religion.

I think it has holy wars in about nine different areas in the world right now.Only one I can think of has anything to do with the US. It will end up like the last group that tried to take over the world in the 1940's. I'm very concerned that this religion creates hatred in the world. I think the sane Muslims need to take control before it is too late

i think its a religion of peace and
Islam (Arabic: الإسلام; al-'islām (help·info)) is a monotheistic religion based upon the teachings of Muhammad, a 7th century Arab religious and political figure. It is the second-largest religion in the world today, with an estimated 1.4 billion adherents, known as Muslims.[1]
Muslims believe that God revealed the Qur'an to Muhammad and that Muhammad is God's final prophet. Muslims consider the Qur'an and the traditions of Muhammad in the Sunnah to be the basic sources of Islam.[2][3] Like Judaism and Christianity, Islam is an Abrahamic religion.[4]
Today, Muslims may be found throughout the world, particularly in the Middle East, North Africa, and South and Central Asia. Only about 20 percent of Muslims originate from Arab countries.[5] Islam is the second largest religion in many European countries, such as France

I don't believe it's been around since 600, or 700 AD or whatever. My feeling is that it's only been around since maybe the late 1500s. Maybe.
I don't believe the crusades story, hardly a primary source for that supposed event that any one could
identify.
I don't know if Muhammed ever existed or not. Several caliphs have had the name Muhammed.
I have no way of knowing too much of any thing about islam. How do I know if the rendering of their Arabic is correct or no? Unless you speak it, read it, and write it all your life, you really can't.
I also don't know if any thing I hear on the news or see on the net about it is true or not. I've only known a couple of Muslims my whole life. Hard workers, nicest guys you ever want to meet.
I know that they believe that Jesus was a prophet, and that he was born of a virgin. I'll go with them on that.
I know that they believe that Ishmael was a son of Abraham. I'll go with them on that.
Other things, I don't know how true they are, I have no way of knowing what their real beliefs are.
I have to say no to islam.
Having women for myself in heaven might happen, and it would be very nice, but if it's not true, i want no part of it.
I don't like wishing for things that don't come true.
I believe in Jesus, and I believe in heaven.
But I don't like following any thing blindly or slavishly.

It's a fine religions. All religions ultimately stifle independent thought and therefore are a form of mind control. Man suffers needlessly for the support of religion.

Islam, in the West, is fighting its battle of acceptance and legitimacy. Muslim activists are working fervently trying to improve Islam's image. Their goal is to create an environment in which Islam can be easily propagated. Their tool is as old as Islam itself, but they have just rediscovered it. This tool is telling Christians that Islam and Christianity have a lot in common. They cite Islam's belief in the Bible, God, Jesus, Mary, the prophets, the day of judgment and Paradise.
This tactic is not new to Islam. Fourteen centuries ago, Mohammed, the prophet of Islam, used it when he started preaching his new religion in Mecca. At the beginning when Mohammed was weak, he was conciliatory and appeasing to Christians. He told them, "We believe in what has been sent down to us (The Quran), and sent down to you (The Bible). Our God is the same as your God." Surah 29:46. Later, in Medina, after Mohammed became strong, all this changed. Allah, allegedly, tells him then, "Fight people of the Book (Christians and Jews) who do not accept the religion of the truth (Islam) until they pay tribute by hand, being inferior." Surah 9:29
