Pick up a copy of a gun oriented magazine, like Guns & Ammo. Usually you will find advertisements, or a section that will tell you where to contact for this type of equipment. Failing that try Cabelas or one of the sporting goods houses. They all have E-mails, so that you can send them an inquiry.

Sportco, or Sporting Arms Co. appers to be an Austrailian maker, although I found precious little information about the company and therefore none on your model. The company seems to be out of business. Perhaps contacing some Austrailian collectors can lead to more info.

"The company started out as the Sporting Arms Co in South Australia and was acquired by the Omark Group. This change is reflected on the barrels of the firearms manufactured by the company. One US reference book states that this occurred in 1980. From my observations this is way too late. The company was advertising its products in each monthly edition of the Sporting Shooter in the late 1960's but by 1972 had ceased to."

Try searching gunbroker.com or auctionarms.com for one. I think both of them have a "wanted" or "wish list" section you can post what you're looking for.

You can also try taking the rifle to a gun show and see if you can find one that fits. Often a mag from another gun can be made to fit an unusual gun.

Also try www.e-gunparts.com. They don't have any sportco stuff listed, but if you call them they may be able to help you. The have TONS of odd gun parts.

Stirling .22 magazines can be adapted to fit very easily, you will need to file a groove on the back of the magazine to allow the mag. catch to hold the magazine in place mainly
