Has anyone vacationed on Turks & Caicos? Please tell me your thoughts.?

Wonderful place! The most turquoise waters, the nicest beaches...it was breathtaking. The food (restaurants) were very expensive ($$$$$), the people not too friendly towards Americans and tourists in generel, but the hotels, the landscape , the beach, the ocean...the most wonderful place somebody could dream up! I definetely would go back!!!!
