I would say you have 4 teaspoons of sugar in you tea, just because most men I know put loads of sugar in their tea.
Half a spoonful is an adequate amount, just enough to add a bit of sweetness without losing the taste of the tea.

hmmm my friend's grandmother always used to say that she didn't have sugar as "she was sweet enough", but grandad needed 2 sugars.... !! boy, how we laughed and laughed.
Anyway, I guess you could try her logic to work out how many sugars you have. But it could backfire if you are a very nice person with a sweet tooth.
The answer to life and the universe is 42 - but this seems a little excessive even for a sweet-toothed person....
