Do women? We're not completely different creatures, we love and admire and long to be with someone just as much as the next woman.

Do women understand the difference?
In my mind, Lust is sexual in nature and may be seen as a specific type of desire. Desire/despair applies in a broader arena, and indicates an emotional longing.

Hmmmmm... if you desire sex, wouldn't that be lust? I do know the difference of sex with love and sex with lust. I feel that there is a ratio like the ratio of breathing partially through the nose and mouth at the same time. It's a mixture.

You are a woman and you sound unsure. So maybe women don't understand either.
Lust to me is sexual. Desire is for 'anything'. As someone said above.

Here we go again, 'men no nothing' .....
Course we do, were not heartless animals. Its just people of 'both' genders differ in opions/personalities, ways of expressing emotion.
