How about getting the number for the HMV store near you (try yell.com) ring them and see if they can help

Failing that have a look on the website about returns/refunds or the return slip that you got with your dvds, does it say any where that you can take it into a store? I doubt there would be a problem but they may not have your particular dvds in stock so you would have to wait anyway!

Stick out being on hold for a bit!

I ordered an Ipod from Amazon on 1st December to be delivered by the 8th of December, for my son's 10th birthday on the 10th. Still no sign of it, even after complaining. Today is the 19th if you have't noticed. At least you have a customer helpline. Amazon used Home Delivery Network Limited and you would stand more chance reaching them if you sat in a circle and held hands with all your friends. Good luck to you and I hope you feel better in time for crimble.

I believe that on online order needs to be sorted out online, at Customer Service. Why don't you send them an email with your order confirmation and your receipt
(invoice) attached so that they can readily see the discrepency?
Call the store and speak with the manager before going.

That's disgraceful incompetence from HMV. If you complain you should get a voucher or something. I always complain at bad service because I know it's the only way to improve things.
