White vinegar. it is going to neutralize the smell to the factor that an animal won't use that section back. attempt finding out to purchase a gallon of it, and use it in a carpet cleanser. Then clean the carpet back with established cleanser. We did this in a house that reeked badly and you ought to no longer tell that there were a undertaking. word - if it has soaked into the flooring below, the only option is to interchange the carpet and clean the floor below it.

Although there are several products claimed to do the job I have never found one that satisfys me. Some may mask the smell to us but the animal can still tell. Get rid of the carpet! It is only encouraging the cat to continue.

From my understanding you are SOL. However, there is a product here in the USA called urine be gone. It is a spray, and the super sized kit comes with a black light. Kinda scary, but you can show where there are bodily fluids around your house with this light. Anyway, use the light, find the spots, and spray this urine be gone. I didnt use it for cats, but I did use it for my son. It worked pretty good (he is a bed wetter!). They advertise it for animals. So, give that a try! Otherwise, perhaps a clothes pin on the nose!! PeeeeeYoooooo

I have been told by a vet to use either Bicarbonate of Soda, or neat washing powder which deodorizes it.
