I love Christmas, I just hate what its become:-
Tacky colour flashing lights
Coka Cola
Annoying TV adverts
Supermarkets full of frozen turkeys
Tacky decorations (especially on Council house frontages)
Baubles (what the hell do they represent anyway?)
Christmas starting in September
Christmas shopping with the other buffalo
Being asked constantly "are you ready for Christmas"
Spelling it XMAS
Shi*y christmas work parties
Tinsel
Stupid cringe making Christmas songs
Christmas jingles in supermarkets

I don't hate Christmas but there are things that I don't like about it.
I can't stand all the shopping and running out of ideas of what to get people
I don't like writing Christmas cards and wrapping all the presents.
I don't like how commercial Christmas has become. The adverts start in September and by Christmas I'm fed up of hearing the little kid shouting 'It's Christmas' in the ASDA advert.
I don't like how companies can make your kids want the best of everything and they throw a hissy fit if you only get them 2nd best item.
I don't like seeing homeless people or beggars on the street as everybody should be inside and warm during the winter.
I don't like seeing Children looking sad as you're running around the supermarket and filling your trolley like you are shopping for a month instead of two days and their trolley only has the basics as their parents can't afford to buy what the shops tell us to buy.
My only wish for Christmas is that every child would be loved, warm, wanted and cared for no matter what time of year it is.
I'm not religious and I don't follow any faith but I find this time of year can give you humility.

I don't hate Christmas, but I hate the way it's become in recent years... commercialized. I hate Christmas decorations in October, everyone stressing out about buying a lot of presents and putting themselves in dept over this holiday, everyone in such a damn hurry, stores packed with people for a few weeks before Christmas, stores using the situation to put the prices up (people will buy those things anyway, so the stores want to make extra money)... it just isn't nice like this. I used to like Christmas, but I wish people stopped with that mad shopping and the stress and hurry that comes with it. I miss the more relaxed version of Christmas.

My family is Jehovah Witness and I'm not. I have plenty
of reason to hate Christmas. I also hate that they put an
idol in the Church at Chistmas, their "tree". Jeremiah 10.
Which they refuse to see!
I hate that many indulge in gift giving. And think thier
$20 in the collection plate, and toy truck to the Salvatian
Army is all they need to do for the poor who have
no Christmas!
But I still see Christmas as a time of Goodwill to all
of Humanity.

http://www.nlbchapel.org/Christmass.htm just check out this link on Christmass and its origin and then you might if you look with open eyes, see why some people do not want to have anything to do with Christmass. It may come as a surprise to you that the origin of Christmass is rooted in pagan heathen beliefs and not in God's word the Bible, and it was celebrated hundreds of years before Christ was born not only is it a pagan celebration that was christianised by the church, but also it does not line up in the Bible as a celebration for Christians, the first century Christians never celebrated christmass, Do you realise that the date of Jesus birth is not stated in the Bible you can look through the whole Bible and you will not find the date in it, if Jesus or his Father wanted his Birth to be celebrated the date of Jesus birth would be in the Bible, but don't believe meand do research this for yourself go to the link I have on the top of this answer to see for yourself if it is really a celebration that should be celebrated by Christians, I have done research on this and therefore found this celebration to be,not for Jesus followers at all, but don't believe me, do your own research and prove it to yourself in favour of Christmas or against either way you will know then which way it should be!

I am not a Christmas hater. I am just not a Christmas doer.
I am told not to judge, so I do not walk around doing Bah-Humbugs.
I just don't join in reindeer games.

It can be a pretty difficult time if things are not going well for you. All those other people enjoying themselves! One can only try not to slide into self pity. Best thing is to just grit your teeth and do all you can to help people enjoy a holiday. You can always celebrate the new year, it's a good secular alternative!

Christmas has turned into more of a hassle then years then a relaxing holiday. Whatever happened to those years when you would wake up, open up presents, and lounge around by the fire all day. Now I have to go to two sets of parent's house, two sets of grandparents house, girlfriends families house, etc. Too much!
