i'm 28 - is that a lot? Or should I have slept with more men by this age?

That's very personal, it depends how you feel about it. Some people will have slept with hundreds of people by your age, some people are still virgins. Either way it's a personal choice, people should do what suits themselves and not keep worrying about what society brands them. The only time you should be worrying about having too many sexual partners is if you think you've contracted something.

What's sad about this question is that you know it would never be asked by a bloke. Men can sleep with as many women as they like and never worry about being branded a s.lut. But women seem to have to have an 'untouched' image. It's such a double standard.

that's a silly question,
theres not a certain number of sex partners for an age and a 28 year old should know that, age should have very little to do with the number of people you have sex with. If you are doing what is right and safe for you it dosent matter if it's 9 partners by 20 or 9 sexual partners at 90 years old.

Some would say you are a bit loose. Others would say go on girl and enjoy. Would I want a woman that has had so many bed partners? No I don't think so. You are only supposed to sleep with someone if you really like and trust them, It is a self respect thing. It must be worrying you to some extent otherwise you wouldn't be keeping count. I think I would keep this information to myself if I was you. It is not the kind of confession most men would like to hear.

No I think that's about right, depends on when you lost your virginity though.

I think that number sounds ok. Oh yeah it also sort of depends on whether you liked the guy, and also the conditions in which you slept with him, for example one night stands are not the way to go. I'm not implying that you have but, they are just pointless.

I'd say you have nothing to worry about, anyway sex is perfectly natural, it's like the most natural thing two people can do.

i think that it is kind of to much for a 28 year old. Don't justt have sex for doing it sake. some will encourage u because they have probably have more than u. Sex is always there so slow down. it also depends on how much time u have spend with each man one nights or casual relationships. going through the fast sex lane isn't going to bring u much peace as u get older. settled down aim for a goal that u have always wanted in life achieve better then u can think about having sex. not saying stop jus slow down.

What's right for one person will not be right for another. However, nine partners by 28 (provided they've been spread out over a period of many years) is normal from my vantage point. I'm 33 and have had 3 partners. I feel this is very low for me.

There is no such thing as the right number of men to sleep with. If you are happy with that number that's ok. Some people go for one night stands and others have relationships. Obviously if you have relationships you sleep with fewer but the sex probably meant more.
