Hi there.
What does the Bible say ?
"And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption." Ephesians 4:30.
Grief is an emotion. A mere "active force" as the J.W's incorrectly teach that the Spirit is, cannot feel emotion. Did you ever hear of a light bulb being offended when it was turned out ? Of course not, electricity is just an "active force".
The Holy Spirit makes decisions - "As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, 'Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.'" Acts 13:2. Here's a thought - who originally called and appointed Paul (Saul) to be an apostle (see Galatians 1:1 & Acts 9:15) ?
The Holy Spirit shares authority / character with the Father and the Son - "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name (Greek - onomah, can refer to someone's authority or character) of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." Matthew 28:19. Note that it says "name" (singular). Also, how can an "active force" possess character ?
Thanks for the opportunity to share. May God bless you.

what's the holy spirit? A evaluation of Bible texts that consult with the holy spirit exhibits that that's spoken of as ‘filling’ human beings; they are in a position to be ‘baptized’ with it; and that they are in a position to be “anointed” with it. (Luke a million:forty-one; Matt. 3:11; Acts 10:38) None of those expressions could be suited if the holy spirit have been a individual. Jesus additionally reported the holy spirit as a “helper” (Greek, pa·ra?kle·tos), and he reported that this helper could “instruct,” “undergo witness,” “communicate,” and ‘hear.’ (John 14:sixteen, 17, 26; 15:26; sixteen:13) it is commonplace in the Scriptures for something to be personified. as an occasion, information is asserted to have “babies.” (Luke 7:35) Sin and dying are spoken of as being kings. (Rom. 5:14, 21) collectively as some texts say that the spirit “spoke,” different passages make sparkling that this became performed by angels or people. (Acts 4:24, 25; 28:25; Matt. 10:19, 20; evaluate Acts 20:23 with 21:10, 11.) At a million John 5:6-8, no longer only the spirit yet additionally “the water and the blood” are reported to ‘undergo witness.’ So, not one of the expressions modern-day in those texts in themselves tutor that the holy spirit is a individual. the nicely suited id of the holy spirit could in good shape all the scriptures that consult with that spirit. With this standpoint, that's logical to end that the holy spirit is the lively rigidity of God. it is not a individual yet is a effective rigidity that God reasons to emanate from himself to end his holy will.—playstation . 104:30; 2 puppy. a million:21; Acts 4:31.

In an anthropic sense - that is a bearded fellow the way we depict the Father sometimes in iconography? No - the Holy Spirit is not a man per se.
But the Holy Spirit is a person, serving a distinct role in the Godhead... that of bringing God's love to his people through action, inspiration, and charism.

I don't believe that the Holy Spirit is a person, though the Holy Spirit acts through people. Merry Christmas!

The Holy Spirit is a person. Early on in Genesis you will read... Gen 1:26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; ..." He is the third Person in the trinity. Yes God is a plural being and all three parts are God. A person is however not necessarily a human it is a being who has a personality.

The Holy Sprit is God. Adam was created in the image and likeness of God. So a person has the personal attributes of God not the other way round.

THE HOLY GHOST - HOLY SPIRIT is a SPIRIT which works through mortal people but is not an actual physical being. would say this SPIRIT is similar to our soul and spirit in the fact that the soul and spirit exist but can not be seen because of the physical shell
( container ) which houses them.
