Yes, it is going to hurt. As to how much, that will all depend on just how much you allow yourself to react to it!
If you go in there thinking that you won't be able to handle the pain then you won't, because you'll have set yourself up with that self-fulfilling prophecy.
But if you are determined to get through it, no matter how much the procedure may hurt, it will actually seem to hurt LESS, and you will be able to walk out feeling wonderful, and ready to show yourself off for the next month.
Your choice.

If you want to see how bad it hurts before you go through it go into the bathroom and take a pair of tweezers and pull out one of your hairs and then, imagine that pain but, try about 100 at a time . If you start to do it and the pain is to bad you'll walk out of there with only half of it done . Check into the problems that occur during and mostly after the wax and you'll probably just stick to shaving. Good luck to you.

people over exaggerate how much it will hurt. I don't think it's ver painful. If your nervous take a painkiller about a 1/2 hour before the wax. Don't concentrate on the pain. Try to have a conversation with your friend/therapist this will distract you.

I do waxing and it will hurt a little but not as bad as you might think. Maybe like ripping a band-aid off. It all depends on how experienced the person is that is waxing you. For the most part you will leave.

yes it will hurt. use a cold wax for less pain and apply milk to the swollen areas. sqeeze her hand tight!

For a truly hairless look- have you tried Chemotherapy?
Shaving is pretty easy. I just can't believe the number of girls that spread their legs in front of strangers who rip out their pubic hair.
Sounds like torture.

yes...one thing do you have any pain pills (percocet/darvocet) you can take before? if so make sure a friends drives. if not try a couple of advils...that helps. it will be sore for a couple of days after but its worth it.

Don't be a big baby... It will hurt a little, big deal... You should worry more that your spreading your legs and letting a stranger mess with your privates like that... Shave
