Yes your hair will produce oils which clean the hair from the root, you will however have to go through a period of itchiness and greasy looking hair.

I saw an article about this at the weekend but didn't read much into it, I think though that they concluded your hair doesn't clean itself and they may have tried it for over 2 months

apparently so yeah. i remember hearing about a woman who didn't wash her hair for years and after a while the natural oils in the hair and roots eventually meant that the hair just cleaned itself. if u ask me i couldnt do it, got to wash mine everyday even though it probably makes it greasier! i couldnt stand the thought of it smelling and the itching! YUK!!!

Apparently it does yes. I watched a documentary on it. Theres a woman who hasnt washed her hair in 15 years. It didn't look greasy either. I think It would at first though I just think youd have to get used to it.

no, your natural oils will just continue to build and just become weighted down. It may not look like you haven't washed it in a few weeks because it would be straight due to the oils but it will feel bad and smell even worse. Not to mention how bad your head will itch.

Eventually yes, like the other person said due to natural oils, but I think it will take longer than 2 weeks so you might get sick of it being greasy first!!
