You should of course thank them for the gift and then be up front and explain that you don't like the whole gift exhange. Finally give the gift back to them, say thanks again, and then get on your way.

Stop giving gifts. Believe me, if the gift giving is not reciprocated, it will stop. My grandmother always told me you give a gift because you want to, not to get a gift in return, but I don't think people really think that way.

You aren't obligated to give a gift if you receive one. In fact, learning to be a good receiver is a very good skill. And it helps the giver to feel better.

Maybe they think that you're just saying that but dont actually mean it, so they give you gifts anyway. Coz very few people dont like receiving gifts...

there is nothing wrong to receive gifts provided you are not asking gifts for you. it is natural that you will receive gift as a sign of love to you from them

get over it. it is how many people express their love for you. accept them with graciousness and give gifts in return. Learn to live in the real world where normal people interact with each other.
