Neither. The man incorrectly referred to as Jesus was a man. Nothing more. Nothing less. He was a good man who did good things. He was not divine. It was only decided that he was divine in 325 C.E. during the Council of Nicaea. Prior to this time he was a mere man. A mortal.
I am not trying to belittle your religion. It is only that I think too many people take the Bible literally when the original intention was for it to be taken figuratively.

Jesus is the Son of God. He is definitely set apart by God, more than a prophet, because prophets do not have the authority to forgive sins on behalf of God or accept prayer. I believe in Jesus (the Son of God), the Father and the Holy Spirit, but I don't really make any statements about the Trinity because really it doesn't seem to be a fundamental principle or doctrine. If Jesus said he was the Son of God set apart by God (meaning although we are also sons of God, we are not on the same standing as Jesus), we don't really need to dwell on exactly if Jesus is God himself. If Jesus said "I am God" then it would be obvious, but since he set himself apart as the Son of God, we shouldn't try to solve for ourselves if Jesus is the Father in heaven and the Son on earth. Its just too complicated and we should keep Scripture as plain as it came.

Jesus is God made manifest in human flesh. God came down on earth as "the son of God", the express image of the invisible God.

Jesus was Gods begotten son, his first born. He came to earth.
All those who believe in the trinity must not have read the bible. As there are at least 27 times... Jesus talks about his "father" and in Matthew 3: 17 when Jesus was baptized in the Jordon by his cousin John the Bapist THE heavens opened "This is my son, the Beloved, whom I approved." His SON.... not this is me.

Trinity is not a scriptural doctrine it is a doctine of men.
Jesus is the beggotton Son of God, firstborn of all creation.
The Creator doesn't become a creation. His angelic Son Jesus took the life of a human and served God faithfully to atone for our sins he unlike Adam remained faithful to his Father. (1 John 4:9)

This is a profound question with no specific answer. I believe that Jesus is the Son, Father and the holy spirit and if you believe what the bibles tells you that the Lord impregnated Mary with out causing her to loose her virginity what other answer could there be to this question

Jesus was flesh and blood, and man.
The Holy Spirit inside Jesus was God, whom came down and took the form of man.
This is where the Christ comes in.
The flesh and blood could do nothing, nor claim to be God, but the Spirit inside the flesh and blood spoke and performed that which God willed through the Holy Spirit.
If you read the words of Jesus carefully, you can see where Jesus the man, and the Spirit of God, Through Jesus, spoke.
After Jesus, the man, died, the Spirit of God, in Jesus, was able to transform himself into his Heavenly body. ( Hence, no bones or body of Jesus is on this earth)
Now God puts on the image of Jesus the man, and Jesus and God are one.
So now we know that Jesus was man, and God was in Jesus, now they are one through the Holy Spirit.
Jesus was NOT God, but of God, now God is Jesus's image.
