I am making a basket of goodies and I really want it to look fancy and elegant. I am trying to please some wealthy people in their late 50's. What would you do?

Buckeye's are good to make. It is basically peanut butter balls dipped in chocolate. They are delicious.

I learned from a recent party, people may like the taste of strawberries and bananas but it is very messy. I noticed the prezels went faster than anything and you don't want the fruit to go bad in a basket. Cheese works too. Throw in some red wine and fancy, shamcy.

If you're doing a basket, I'd go with dried foods. Shortbread cookies, pretzels, and dried fruits (apricots, pineapple, mango, etc) are fantastic dipped in chocolate. The dried fruits especially are very elegant. I also like to take those soft peppermint sticks and dip them in chocolate. This is a great idea for a basket!
