Try taking two regular strength Tylenol and one Advil. The two Tylenol will help with the pain and the Advil is an anti-imflammatory which will ease the swelling.

just your regular painkillers will work fine, you may find that you would prefer something like ibuprofen which eases pain and reduces swelling...although be careful because some painkillers like aspirin will thin your blood which may disrupt the plug in the cavity that remains after the extraction.
