If you over bake cookies and they get really crispy, is there a way to soften them?

The microwave works very well, however, if you don't eat them immediately out of the microwave, they will get even crispier than they are today.

One way to give them more moisture is to boil 2 cups of water in the microwave and then (leave the microwave off and the water inside), store your cookies inside it for about an hour or so. The sugar in the cookies is hygroscopic (it sucks up water vapor from the air) and will take in the steam that is left in the microwave after you boil the water in it.

you can put them in the microwave for a few seconds before ya eat em, there are a few tricks to keep them soft too.. like a sloce of bread in with them.. ect.. but not sure if that will work with overbaked cookies

yes, put a piece of bread(soft) in with the cookies and seal them in a container for a few hours or overnight. It works every time and keeps them fresh too.
