There are many online poker sites that continue to accept US-based real-money players. The Online Casino Gambling Directory is the best place to look to find a current, accurate list of such sites along with the site's free, no-deposit bonus offers and initial deposit bonus offers. Click the link below to be taken directly to the lists.
US players that reside in any of IL, IN, LA, MI, NJ, NV, NY, OR, SD, WA, WI: http://theonlinecasinogamblingdirectory.com/s.php?as_usa=1&SRC=YahooAnswers&t=Poker
US players from all other states have a few more choices available: http://theonlinecasinogamblingdirectory.com/s.php?as_usa=2&SRC=YahooAnswers&t=Poker
I recommend three sites in particular for their nice bonuses, great game selection, and excellent sit-and-go tournaments at all stakes. As of this writing, all of these sites take players from any state in the US (as well as all non-US players, of course).

Almost all of them are accessible to Americans. The only problem is that most of them are refusing to take American money, so you have to play for play money.
Just before the last election Bill Frist used an underhanded and undemocratic technique to slip an anti-gambling law into a completely unrelated anti-terror bill. He was hoping his fanatical radical Christian right base would be impressed by his misguided moral Nazi approach. He was then hoping to use the support he had gained to run for President. Unfortunately for him no one liked him, including the radicals he was trying to impress. People see him for what he is, a man completely out of touch with the electorate.
The good news is, he is now unlikely to run for President. The bad news is, his bill has made it very difficult for legitimate online gambling sites to accept American players. Thankfully, the bill does not actually make it illegal to play online poker.
At this time there are several excellent sites you can play at. You can transfer real money to them using a wonderful company called Neteller, which is based in the British Isles and is completely safe to use.
See the link for the various options that are open to you. Also when you vote, watch out of the kind of politician who chooses to ignore the democratic process and make sure you vote against them. Sleazy politicians should not be rewarded for immoral behavior. Good luck!

I use PokerStars, Full Tilt, and Ultimate Bet often.
There's a wide variety of games at those sites. Ultimate Bet also offers Elimination Blackjack tournaments and Bounty Poker tournaments.

Hi,
Like you, I was looking for the best online casino a few months ago.
I eventually joined one of the most experienced gaming operators in the world.
It is a well-known fact that players put faith in sites that have built up a reputation of honesty and reliability.
River Belle has over 10 years expertise in bringing clients the biggest, best and latest games and promotions around.
I've been winning, their bonuses are the best and I highly recommend them as the best online casino.
